The 3rd Conflict Minerals and Supply Chain Conference aims to help companies strengthen their conflict minerals programs, enhance smelter verification, and improve future audits to fulfill compliance expectations. After being a part of panel discussions, case studies and workshops, conference attendees will walk away with expanded knowledge of conflict minerals due diligence practices to fulfill reporting requirements and supply chain transparency and traceability.
Source Intelligence will be leading the Assessing Smelter Data, Quality and Overall Verification Process Workshop, and the Building a Future Ready Conflict Minerals Program panel discussion. The workshop, led by Tristan Mecham, Director of Product Development at Source Intelligence, will provide companies with the tools and strategies on increasing data to verify supplier provided smelter information.
Additionally, Source Intelligence’s Scott Merkel will be facilitating the Building a Future Ready Conflict Minerals Program panel with panelist Debra Paxton, Global Compliance Program Manager of Conflict Minerals from Schlumberger Oilfield Services. It is imperative issues from reporting year 2014 are addressed so that companies can achieve deeper levels of Conflict Minerals reporting in 2015 and beyond.
